The ProStar PS-15M Charge Controller is used on a variety of solar applications and projects. Morningstar charge controllers are durable and versatile controllers used in conjunction with solar panels to charge deep cycle solar batteries faster and more efficiently. The ProStar PS-15M is a mid-range solar controller that provides longer battery life and improved system functionality. The ProStar PS-15M solar charge controller is built with a LED display meter allowing solar installers and technicians the ability to easily analyze and diagnose performance.

Morningstar ProStar PS-15M Features:

PWM series battery charging (not shunt)
3-position battery select: gel, sealed, or flooded
Very accurate control and measurement
Jumper to eliminate telecom noise
Parallel for up to 300 amps
Temperature compensation
Tropicalization: conformal coating, stainless-steel fasteners & anodized aluminum heat sink
No switching or measurement in the grounded leg
100% solid state
Very low voltage drops
Current compensated low voltage disconnect (LVD)
LED's indicate battery status and faults
Capable of 25% overloads
Remote battery voltage sense terminals

Morningstar PS-15M Electronic Protections:

Please note that one is not able to control the frequency of battery equalization. Furthermore, the Prostar only equalizes up to 15.1 volts and most flooded lead acid batteries list 15.5 volts.
