This 80 gallon thermal water heating system from Eagle Sun is paired with a large 80 square foot solar collector. The water is heated in the storage tank by heating water passing through the tank. The closed loop design prevents the separate water sources from mixing. The system is also equipped with a drainback feature that empties the tank during low use or when a maximum water temperature has been reached. The system is constructed with a drainback reservoir allowing it to be used in colder climates.
