The march to solar has reached suburban Maryland. There was a good article in the Town Courier on how one pioneering homeowner worked with his homeowners’ association in Kentlands, self-described as an “award-winning neo-traditional community” in Gathersburg, Maryland. The homeowner is installing a 2.4 kilowatt system with 12 panels on his townhouse and describes the cost of $25,000 and the tax credits he expects to receive.
